RidningThere are many possibilities for horseback riding in Northwest Jutland. Riding schools, places where you can rent horses, three-day riding vacation with board and lodgings for you and your horse, and horseback trips for children where an adult holds the horse – for example on the beach.
 Short trips on horseback
Send your children on trips in an enclosed course where an adult leads the horse, or try a longer trip of about an hour – for example to the beach - at Vejlby Sommerpark. Horseback trips are organized from the second week of June to the second week of September.

Safari on the Gods' horses
Try a horseback trip in Klosterheden on Icelandic horses. The Icelandic horse is a Viking horse, a Nordic race known for its reliability and courage, which has a very good temper. It is thus very well suited for both children and adults, for experienced and not so experienced riders. We set out from the riding centre close to the forest, and then continue into Klosterheden. The trips last three hours.

Horseback vacation on Icelandic horses
Around Nissum Fiord - three days. Take a trip around Nissum Fiord. The trips last three days and are organized from May to October. We ride through majestic areas and also on the North Sea beach.
